[GTW] [IL] Alien Sim+Mermaid Sim have a human baby

Update: It happened again. My mermaid Sim had twins with an alien partner, one baby was an alien but the other was a human baby. 

The alien was one I downloaded off the gallery, and yes, he was not a half-alien. 

If the baby was not an alien, it should have been a mermaid like Mom, as it's 50% chance for either occult when the parents are different occults. 

I've tried with other occult partners (spellcasters, werewolves, vampires), and when my mermaid Sim has twins with them, usually the babies are either or. 

To add, my Sim has had babies with aliens before this patch and usually with twins one baby will be an alien and the other will be a mermaid. I don't know why suddenly one baby is pure human. I think something got messed up regarding genetics when one partner is an alien. :/

Are you sure the baby is not an half-alien and that is why they look human? 

Can you upload the household in the gallery and give me the link so I can check and test it?

Because I playing a 100 baby challenge with a alien mother and it seems normal to me 🐱

Edit: It`s pretty normal to have one human baby when both parents are different occults. Its rare but happens some times. 

Yes, I'm positive, I know what half-aliens look like. This baby is 100% human. This happened to me right after the patch with a different alien baby daddy that I also got off the gallery as well. Half-aliens in my game always have the alien parent's skin color at least (from their alien form, not the disguise) and that didn't happen with either of these babies. My Sim's previous daughter didn't have any alien interactions that half-aliens usually have either, they do usually get a couple - she's just a regular human Sim with a pure alien brother. 

Currently this is my son, who should at least be a mermaid, but isn't, and is clearly not alien or half-alien either:

I have never had a human baby result from a pairing of different occults ever - I did 100 baby with a werewolf matriarch before this as well, and I tend to like occult Sims so I've had many babies from different occult pairings. It doesn't make sense this is only happening in my game now after the patch, when previously it was always 50-50 the kids would be either/or. And it is only happening with alien baby daddies. When the baby daddy is a werewolf, vampire or spellcaster, it follows the 50-50 rule without issues. 

I have uploaded my current household as requested. Gallery ID is espeon9466 and I just named it Wavesong (Test). Ronon is the baby that should be either alien or mermaid but is pure human as far as I can tell. He is currently an infant.

This just happened to me as well. My male mermaid sim and my female alien sim had a baby and the baby is completely human. I was so disappointed. I actually went into CAS in Full Edit Mode and cheated the baby up into a teen to make sure they weren't a mermaid, and they are definitely just human. :-(
