This is still not fixed as of the February 2016 patch. Will the Gurus see this if it is not added to the main thread?
I still don't understand the issue but conversation is still pending. I was told before it was working as intended but I'm unsure so I've asked again.
The issue is a duplicate of the wall mesh as the door. This causes there to be two walls and the door to be messed up because the door is appearing as the wall. The door is in debug but it is missing the description or any attributes because the wall mesh is duplicated as the door. They need to remove the wall mesh from the door so it can appear correctly. I posted pictures because I thought it would help but I guess it doesn't.
To simplify the issue:
- There is a door and a wall that should be separate.
- Each has their own description.
- The mesh of the wall is appearing for both the door and the wall.
- The door is available in debug but it is messed up because the mesh for the wall is overriding it. This overriding causes the door to not have any description attributes and causes the different colors of the door to appear as several different objects
- The wall has one mesh (which is correct and shows correctly) but the door has two (wall and door which is incorrect) because they added the wall mesh to the door.
To fix, I think they need to stop the wall mesh from overriding the door mesh on the door object so the door object will show properly with the description.
The one in activity are
- Mis-categorized as they are decorative and non-functional on residential lots.
- Twice the same but that's not really a problem
- The pictures you posted are rather small so I can't read the description but I checked mine and I only found the word door on one item and wall on another.
- I can't see them in build mode ? What is the wall objects you're referring too ?
Do you mean that the ones in buyDebug should be functional but they are not because of this ?
