[GTW] Only One Alien Pollination Technician Per Save File

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Svenska
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.70.84.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except Spa Day, Outdoor Retreat, My First Pet Stuff and Digital Deluxe.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Get sims impregnated via alien abduction. Then age up the male alien babies to at least young adults and get them abducted too.
What happens when the bug occurs? There's only one alien pollination technician per save file, who can impregnate her own sons. Also, all the aliens born from abduction will look basically the same, since they all have the same mum. All aliens born from abduction in the same save file will have the exact same skin tone.
What do you expect to see? More than one alien pollination technician per save file, so that male aliens can't get impregnated by their own mum and so that not all aliens look basically the same.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No

The alien pollination technician is randomised in each save file, but every save file has only one single alien pollination technician each, called Pollination Technician #3, which is a female alien who's the one who "pollinates" every sim who gets pregnant from abduction.

This leads to two major problems:

1. Male aliens born from abduction can get impregnated by their own mum. Not only is this unsettling* but it also messes up the genealogy.

2. All aliens born from abduction will look almost the same in one save file. This would've been okay in TS2 or TS3, where aliens could only have one skin tone, but in TS4 aliens have 9 skin tones, so it's incredibly boring that a save file is stuck with only one skin tone for all aliens born from abduction. I know that I can change their skin tone in CAS or create my own aliens in CAS, but I shouldn't have to rely on that to get diverse aliens in one save file.

I think the best solution would be if there were 9 alien pollination technicians per save file, one for each skin tone, to give us some diversity. I also think that male aliens shouldn't be able to be impregnated by their own mum at all.

*I'm not saying that pregnancy from abduction isn't unsettling in other cases (I think we should be able to toggle this in the pregnancy settings in CAS and in the save file settings), but this is one step too far.

  • After some testing I've noticed that there's not just one single pollination technician per save file, there are several, BUT they're all named Pollination Technician #3. I had a sim get pregnant by abduction three times, and the babies were tagged as half-siblings with each other, and when looking in the genealogy I can see that they have different mothers with different faces (though all of them were blue, but I think that might've been by chance).

Anyway, I think the pollination technicians should be premades, and one of each alien skin tone, to avoid getting all in-game born aliens having the same skin tone by chance (it's not like there are a lot of in-game born aliens happening anyway, a bit of diversity doesn't hurt).

I also think that not only should there be settings to avoid pregnancy from abduction altogether (in the save file settings) but there need to be some kind of alien pregnancy settings in CAS, because it's impossible to have a male sim in the science career without him getting impregnated by aliens over and over again, and it's still a problem with in-game born male aliens having the chance of getting impregnated by their own mother, that has to be fixed in some way.
