It is a modified hospital, however my sim was a spellcaster with a Foxbury degree. Another sim I tried it with was also had a degree with a modified hospital. I now started a new save and tested the deliver a baby with a normal sim with no degree and the base hospital and it worked. I'll start with putting the base hospital down in my game and try it again. I'll let you know if there still is a problem. Thank you for the help though.
@crinrict I took the standard hospital from the new save game and put it in my save game. It took a while for the deliver a baby option to pop up, but it did actually work and he delivered the baby. I did however notice with all the testing that they always used the same surgery table for any surgery or the delivery. In the altered version I had that surgery table was moved. I do think that was the problem though. Thank you very much for the assistance my year long level 8 doctor actually got promoted.
@crinrict Oh, well I could try changing other parts of the hospital and only leaving that surgery room standard , in theory that should work as well since the remainder of the career works perfectly.
