So, just to give you both an update on my circumstance: It's still happening, and I have even less ideas now as to why.

I was still experiencing hoards of aliens in my game before my PC died in December. I finally got a new PC in February, but I couldn't retrieve any of my old files from my dead PC (Sims 4 included). So when I installed The Sims on my new PC, it was a completely fresh download - no saves, no mods, no settings, etc. And even playing a completely virgin game on a brand new computer, the spawning glitch returned.

Other occult types are spawning minimally, but my aliens are generating my the dozens every day.

So .... Here's hoping you can figure it out. Because I can't.

    Hi,
    Thanks for letting us know your current status.
    From the circumstances of your post, it seemed to me that perhaps repairing the game could return the number of occult sims generated back to their initial state. I don't think in your previous post you stated that you had restored the game.
    What is most curious is that the aliens are not in a state of mimicry.
    Normally, alien sims come generated in a mimicked state. As I posted before, the unmimicked alien sim is generated only when you have an interaction about the alien in your scientist career, or when you meet the alien in a Sigzam, or when you contact the alien with your computer or parabolic antenna, etc. So it was very strange to see the horde of aliens in your attached image.
    Are the aliens that are still generated not mimicked?
    If so, I think that is the main problem.
    Hopefully this can be avoided by repairing the game.

      @Pick-a-boo_doo At the risk of sounding incredibly ignorant (lol ...), I'm not positive what you mean by 'mimicked' (sorry if I'm behind in common gaming terminology). But guessing by the way you used it, are you referring to their human alias? If so, then no, they aren't presenting human, but it's by my choice.

      When they started overtaking my game, I used the MCCC option to get rid of the human disguise, so I could easily identify and delete them by their thumbnails from my household manager.

      As for game repairs, I do them up to several times a week due to LastException Errors. It hasn't helped with this particular issue yet.

        Sorry for the incomprehensible wording. I am translating from my native language, so I sometimes use words without knowing whether they are correct or not. Your guess is correct.
        If repairing the game doesn't help, I don't know what else I can come up with. I only hope you enjoy playing.
