@Goldenburg22 I'd assume he still has the corresponding trait to make him the Mysterious Rancher, since you added him via a debug cheat, so the game does not generate a new one. I'm not sure if it would show in the traits panel though, maybe it's completely invisible and you would need a cheat to check that.
And I'm not even sure if you could have added him to your household regularly without any cheats, because the game unfortunately treats the HR NPCs quite differently (you can't even invite them to any lots for example).
As for now, I have played more than two sim weeks time after adding the rancher. This is the new save i used for testing (add rancher to household via cheat). Previously, I used my main save, when i check on the community board, it only shows horse trainer npc as per screenshot i have attached before. I believe the original npc has died by accident as I am not able to find him anywhere. I kept waiting days by days hoping he would appear in the areas that he normally would be. Since this type of NPC is unique (not able to search through household management), I have no idea what happened to him (most probably died by accident). Hence, i am now stuck with no available mysterious rancher npc for my main game, which i really hope for a solution for this as I really didnt want to give up my main save (use this save since 2021) and recreate a new one (which will be a lot to work on).
Since you use mods, do you use SimsInfo? You can use that to see all sims in a save. Just click on a sim, choose Show Sim Info, then choose All Sims in the Game. You'll get a selection panel. Just scroll down until you find the ghost. Since sims now display in all the panels in alphabetical order, just scroll down to the R's and take a look. If he is there, that means he's still in your save. So, try that, and if you do find him, come back and post and we'll go from there. I have to test a little bit, but I think you might be able to bring him back to life with MCCC if his ghost is still in your game.
