i had this exact same problem but i just figured out that if you send your sims home before 3:30 the time practice starts it should work to send them to cheer to be able to gain performance. you don’t go with your sim still it’s one of those tasks they just go to themselves. i’m not exactly sure how it works because i sent my sim home a little late around 3:45 and then clicked in the school and cheer tab and the option “send to activity” was there. she went to cheer and i gained performance which hadn’t worked for me before.
