[HSY] Crush sentiment for a sim with a different orientation

What I've seen is that teens just easily get crushes..  Even if you don't want them to have a crush or didn't mean for them to have a crush   I think it's working as intended. You can't really control who you have a crush on in RL.  I had a crush on so many people when I was at high school so it made perfect sense to me during my playthrough.  The crushes don't last that long and you do have an option to try to get rid of your crush in game, which actually sometimes works.
