Infant glitches out of highchair

How often does the bug occur? Maybe 80% of the time I try to go straight from the highchair to the crib.
What is your current game version number? 1.108.349.1020 DX9
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? all packs i have are: tiny living, seasons, parenthood, nifty knitting, luxury party, jungle adventure, holiday celebration, get together, get to work, get famous, fashion street kit, discover university, city living, cats & dogs. backyard. + paranormal, laundry day, high school years. my first pet, backyard, and lovestruck were all acquired after the issue began.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? I will get an infant to try food for the first time, then press "Put in Crib" or even just ask to change the diaper while the infant is in the highchair- then poof! (Using "pick up" then "put *name* to bed" generally works though)
What happens when the bug occurs? Infant teleports to the floor (seems to reset) and the feeding sim also resets. Feeding sim will often be unable to interact for the infant an hour~.
What do you expect to see? The infant be lifted up and moved to the crib.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Issue occurs both with and without mods.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Issue has been happening for at least a year, I think since I downloaded Sims on this PC.
My sim will be feeding an infant using the trying food for first time thing, and when I ask for the infant to be moved to the crib, or sometimes just the floor, the infant will teleport next to the highchair and the sim will ignore the infant for a period of time. I believe this has also happened when asking the sim to clean up the infant while the infant is still in the highchair (glitch doesn't always happen). I was originally using mods, but even when disabling them, the issue still occurred. I've since done the reset thing where you change the folder name to Sims4_Backup, but on my first attempt at moving an infant from a highchair to bed (without mods still), the infant once again teleported to the floor.
(Not sure if this is relevant, but I was using a mod that told me about last exception stuff, and pretty often there were messages about transition_sequence and NoneType completely unrelated to infants.)
