Infant milestone keeps disappearing after changing played family

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Playing the game
What happens when the bug occurs? Reaching infant milestones but it’s not registering them so it’s a constant loop of the same milestone being reached but not sticking with the infant. They keep reaching ‘sit up’ but they have reached that milestone 7 times now in the last half an hour and then they just lay back down again
What do you expect to see? The milestone should be met and then the infant can use the high chair or sit up on the floor.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? No
infant milestones are not registering. Keep looping the same milestone
