My game automatically updates. It is whatever the current version is. If the version number is wrong, it’s a typo.
@PansekshuElle It's always important to double check the version in the main menu.
Is practice crawling the only stretching you still see ? Each interaction that has issues need to be fixed. The stretching usually occurs if the animation is missing for the interaction or the interaction wasn't supposed to be a thing for the infant int he first place (like the yell at), so each interaction needs to be fixed separately.
Does it say crawl for you or walk when you hover over the icons ?
@gooochyeee the typo could be either way so it's always best for the OP to clear up things.Since the report was rather broad, I needed to make sure they are on the latest one for this bug report.

I did check the version in the main menu. The version number I typed in was off by one digit. If you had read the entire version number instead of stopping at "96", you would have seen that the rest of it was accurate to the latest update. It really frustrates me that you derail these threads by assuming I didn't check the version number when you didn't even bother reading the whole number yourself. Someone else even told you that it was accurate, but you still keep assuming that I didn't update or check the version number. It's so frustrating.
Like I said, the stretching doesn't happen on any predictable basis. It just happened to be that "practice crawling" was the command I initiated before the stretching happened on this one instance. Practice crawling has not caused the stretching to occur on plenty of other occasions.

Sorry if that frustrates you but you also have to understand my side, especially on issues that are potentially fixed. I will no longer bother you with any questions.
From what you said, it's probably the stretching issue that's still open.- PansekshuElle3 years agoSeasoned Veteran

I could only have gotten that number by looking at the version number on the main menu. The only digit that was off was the 6 in 96, and after you incorrectly assumed I didn't update my game, I corrected it to 97 in the post. We both told you it was a typo and you chastised me again to look at the main menu. I literally told you my game automatically updates and that it was a typo, and you insisted on yet another reply derailing the thread. It adds an extremely frustrating and time wasting level of misery to reporting bugs on a game that is expensive and already deeply frustrating to play. Instead of assuming that I refused to update my game, you could have assumed that it was a single digit typo, asked once if it was a typo, and then believed me when I said it was a typo.
As for understanding your side, how the hell can you read thousands of posts reporting nonstop issues with the game and come to any conclusion other than "yeah it makes sense that there are still issues". The game is constantly having problems, and there are plenty of cases where they think they've fixed something when they haven't. FFS sims are still hugging their pets backwards from the other side of their house after all this time. Most of the things I've reported have never been fixed, even when they are huge issues. Players still having an issue after a patch should not be surprising. I've reported dozens of bugs over the years, and your response is almost always to blame me, or make some kind of excuse to dismiss the bug. And now, I made a typo in a version number so *of course* that's all we're focusing on. I don't even understand what your function is in this forum. You don't work for EA, so you're what... an unpaid volunteer who responds to every single post telling us that we're wrong based on your opinion as someone who is not a Maxis team member? I don't get it at all.
