Issues with cargo pants and shoes

I have looked into this. For the old swatches the shirt's mesh doesn't fit the female rig at all, giving her pointy breasts and just a weird fit overall. But what happens for the new swatches is that the rig of the female sim's torso is actually converted into the male rig!

This sim has no customised gender settings, she has all the default female gender settings.

The same thing happens with the other CAS assets that were given new swatches in the recent SDX, but in those cases the problem doesn't give the exact same result.

For the trousers, the old swatches look awful on female sims, they aren't meshed to fit the rig at all, and for the new swatches the female sim's legs convert to the male rig, while the rest of her body continues to have the female rig. This means that the trousers fit perfectly, but instead she loses a part of her torso.

For the shoes we have the same thing happening, for the old swatches on the female rig it's obvious that the shoes aren't meshed for the female rig, and for the new swatches her feet turn into the male rig's feet. In this specific case that isn't a problem at all, instead it means that the new swatches look incredibly good while the old swatches continue to look wonky.

Again, I want to emphasise that the sim I've used for these pictures has NO gender customisation, she's set to female and has all the default female settings.

  • It seems like this bug was fixed, so that female sims now don't change into the male rig with these clothes. BUT this was also "fixed" for the shoes, meaning that all the swatches for these shoes look wonky now. I think the shoes should be fixed by actually changing female sims' feet into the male rig for the feet, as these shoes previously did with the new swatches, because it looked SO much better. I also think that things that aren't meshed to fit the female rig shouldn't be tagged as feminine. I don't want to have to scroll through lots and lots of clothes that look wonky on the female frame, there are a lot of clothes that are tagged as feminine despite not being fixed to fit the female rig.

    Hey there @SqueamishNerd,

As this report contains multiple bugs, this thread has been closed. Please go ahead and create a new bug report, one per each individual bug that you're experiencing so we can track things easier and provide relevant information regarding the specific issue.

For the issue with cargo pants, you can post in the thread here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Invisible-belly/m-p/12948813/highlight/false#M258330

Please create a new, separate bug report for the issue you're seeing with the shoes.
