Kleptomaniac sim stealing dirty dishes

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a kleptomaniac sim- my sim was a teen. If the sim is a teen, wait for them to go to school or wait for them to go to work. Most of the time when the sim swipes an item, it will be a dirty dish. If not, it will be a book but the books are not common for me. My sim swipes dishes more often.
What happens when the bug occurs? The sim brings home a dirty dish and it goes into the household inventory and the pop-up comes up and shows that they stole a dish.
What do you expect to see? My sim coming home with a swiped item that is anything but a dish.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
