LAAAAG due to the FOR RENT Patch (third For Rent Patch)
i wanted to make a new thread regarding the lag since the game got ridulously slow after adding this latest patch
things i did:
i updated the EA app
i repaired my game
i rebooted my computer
i am playing a simple no mods game and it takes 10 seconds for objects to show their menus
i am playing on a gaming laptop with 58 packs installed and no mods I do not have For Rent and i would not be bug testing a simple game but for the fact the EA app without my permission updated my game (I was repairing the game when the second For Rent patch dropped and to my dismay EA overrided my setting for manual updates)

the lag is new and only started with the latest patch and not related to the wallpaper issue
i cant remember when the first two For Rent patches dropped but since my game was forced to update i have been bug testing a simple game with a fresh folder and I didnt expericence any lag until today bc of the update
Today when i updated the game the lagging was so bad just at launching it was like i had broken mods installed it even took almost ten minutes to open when normally its only 3 minutes with my over 20 gb mods folder
i restarted the game a few times and each time the lag was extreme I did just go back in and found the lag reduced and that might be because i avoided using the gallery
I do not have the new For Rent pack and still have the bad game play lag in build AND live mode in general movement after the patch. It feels like I would play on a 64x64 lot with a ton of objects installed. The game is almost unplayable right now.
