Yep, just noticed the same thing. When making jewelry I had one metal I hadn't found yet. I found it in a rift and went to check my collections and discovered that it stated I was missing 3. Even though I have multiples of one that wasn't in the collection, none of them appear to be "mine" and weren't registered in collections. I can drag them into my inventory but the option to "put them in my inventory" by having the sim pick them up off the ground is greyed out. Once in my inventory they can't be dragged to be sold but can be sold if I turn on the "multi-select" option. (which also allows me to sell the grimbrosia plant which there's no way to get rid of outside of cooking it at work.)
