[LD] Ghost Host essence favor: Can't turn in as a permanent ghost sim

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.294.1020 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a ghost sim try to complete the favor: essence for the ghost host. offer to do a favor will pop up but you cant turn in the essence to complete the favor and get the strength card
What happens when the bug occurs? the offer to do favor button is the only action
What do you expect to see? you can do all the steps to compete the favor, just not turn it in
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

non ghost sims can complete the Ghost Hosts essence favor but ghost sims cannot.

    @mephiztoph There's already a thread for the essence not appearing in the inventory.

    Is that what you are seeing too ? Do you have them in the inventory ?

    No, the essence is in my inventory I just can’t give it to the ghost host as a ghost sim.

    @mephiztoph I don't have the requirements in mind but can you wait until you're not longer a ghost and give it to them then ?

    Unfortunately the sim in question started as a ghost so I would have to bring them back to life to try that. It was not a bog out of body experience.

    I started it with a ghost sim and was unable to complete so I came here looking for a solve and then tried it again with a living sim still not able to complete. So I don’t know what I’m doing wrong or if it is just bugged.

    Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to complete the Order of Lenore quest for Ghostly Essence (The Ghost Host) as a playable ghost.
    What happens when the bug occurs? The essence can be acquired but can't be delivered as a playable ghost. It has to be delivered by a living sim.
    What do you expect to see? I expect to be able to complete the quest as a playable ghost.
    Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.

    I can't deliver ghostly essence to the Ghost Host to complete the Order of Lenore quest for the Strength tarot card as a playable ghost. It can only be delivered by  a living sim.

    Same problem on two saves. I already had 7 Essences when I got the quest, and everything else is checked off, but I have no option to deliver the essences. This bug makes it impossible for Ghost Sims to complete the collection, leaving the deck 2 cards short (the one for this quest, and the one from Grim).

    Edit: Side note - On PS4, so mods can be ruled out as a source for the problem, and clearly also not platform exclusive.

    My sim was a bog experience ghost, and I also couldn't complete the favor. However he still can't complete the favor now he's no longer a ghost.
