So, I did a quick test to see if there would be a workaround. I made a sim, moved them into a house, and had her get pregnant with Grim's baby. I aged the baby to an infant and took screenshots of what she looked like as a YA. I then exited without saving, took the Grimborn trait off (since that seems to be the culprit), and aged her up to toddler, adding the trait back on afterwards. I did the same thing as I did when she was an infant and checked her in cas. When back to live mode, removed the trait again, aged her up and re-equipped the trait. Took her in cas and unfortunately, still got a scrunched/distorted face. Seems like removing the trait before aging up the sim doesn't seem to work.
