Yeah, I haven't a clue. One of my kids with Grim seemed to have older version's nose (it wasn't her mother's nose, that's for sure). And this was in a new save I made the day before LD came out, so I know it's the new Grim.
Yeah I called Grim over and added him to my household to look at him in CAS and he is definitely an older version… he looks even worse than the one in the screenshot you posted 😩
The funny thing is that I was able to fix Grim, now he looks like a totally normal goth gentleman, but he still floats around and you are able to ask him about all the things like the rainbow bridge etc. I don’t know if it will make any difference for his future offspring genetically speaking, but it’s weird that I can fix his features… yet my child with him has ears that simply won’t be fixed no matter what I try. At least as a child so far it looks like the changes to their face have stuck after going to live mode. I’m worried about what will happen when I age them up again, but I guess we’ll see 🤷🏻
