Definetly seems to be something related to the Grimborn trait, here's hoping a fix is on the horizon.
Also, while I'm here adding my two cents to this Grim-Squishification, I seem to have this issue of Grim duplicating himself in my game. Which seems to be related to the Grim Reaper career. As of now, my game has four Grim Reapers. And I can tell they're all different because they have different traits. My OG Grim (and the father of my two Grimborn sims) has the Neat trait. Grim 2 is Child of the Island, Grim 3 is Macabre and Grim 4 has the Lovebug trait. Needless to say, its an odd bug and very annoying.
It is even more visible when using Nyon as an example.
On the left, from a brand new save, is Nyon with the Grimborn trait. He appears at first okay, but when you move lots and such, he turns like this.
On the right, is Nyon from the gallery as he should be.
The Grimborn trait clearly warp physical traits.
