this is happening with two separate sims in two different save files. both spellcasters. had a thought that it might be related to the discovery quests, but haven’t had a chance to test yet.
@crinrictI have this with regular human sims as well, but I need to test more. So far, a brand new save made from 11/8/2024 onward where a human sim that lives in the neighborhood has no issue but previous saves made before that date that don't live in the neighborhood and have to get there by traveling do have the issue, regardless of human or vampire or spellcaster or whatever.
finally got some time to get back on the game. i made a third new save, human sim with the same aspiration and traits as my spellcaster, living in the same lot. finally got it to work! appears to have been a spellcaster issue.
I have a non-spellcaster living next to the lot who gets the routing error.
