Hi there,
I've encountered one of the issues mentioned in this thread twice:
My sim is pregnant, everything goes fine until she gives birth.
One bassinet appears (since I didn't buy one).
She gives birth to triplets and I'm asked for their names (always 1 boy and 2 girls).
But then the crib remains empty. There's no addition to the family. It's like my Sim had never been pregnant (but the bassinet stays).
This issue appeared with the latest updates (07/23/24 and after), since I never had it before.
No CC or mods ever - MAC user

I am playing on my PS4. My sims just gave birth to twins. 1 boy and 1 girl. When she came back from the hospital the twins never made it to the home. They aren't in the household. It's still just my sim. I looked in the family tree and it shows only the boy.

There might be a bigger issue than thought initially.Thank you for doing that. No I don't have a back up but I didn't save the game when that happened. I will load back on to my game since the last save I did was while she was pregnant. I will see if it happens again.
I do have the recording clip on my ps4.
@conconpink59 Could you try if it happens at home too. I'm guessing you have the same issue as OP but can't get exceptions on console
Could you also try what happens for you if you play another family while the baby is being born ?
