I tried to replicate as best as I could what you are reporting. But I couldn't. So, a few questions.
Does the problem happen with just one or two curtains or all of them?
Does it happen with other objects?
Does it happen with other lights?
Does it happen with game curtains and lights or just the objects I see in your pics?
Do have a custom lighting file or are you using an overlay like ReShade?
I have all packs, but I don't have either set of curtains I see in your pics, so they must be CC. The same for the light on the vanity. There is a similar candle, but it doesn't shine with a pink or other colored light. I tested with all game items in a vanilla save with no mods or CC. So, it would seem this is a CC issue, and I would guess it's the light causing the issue. I tested a number of lights and none of them shone through to the floor below.
Hope this helps.
- LuvMySimz2 years agoSeasoned Ace@CGrant56 Thank you very much for testing my issue. Did you test on short walls?
Yes, the picture were taking with CC, but I had used non CC before and when I saw the issue I tested with the above curtain and candle cc and the problem was the same. I do not have any lighting files or overlay in my game. Just some cc and a few mods. The issue also happens whis cabinets on short walls. The top of the cabinet will look pinkish. Not on medium walls though. Actually everything that is close to a floor has this issue with short walls. I do not have all the packs. The candle in the picture is a cc clone from a christmas candle. Not sure why this would shine true the floors. I will start a new save file now and test without cc and will let you know.
