Locked doors unlock themselves when leaving the lot

Also confirming that I've been having this problem, too, particularly in City Living apartments. I tested it without mods, in three separate households. 

I've also had random, uninvited Sims coming into the apartment, as a result, even though none of them were given a key and none of them had ever met my Sims before.
