Lock/Unlock Door: Not all household Sims showing as option

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Xbox Series S
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.80
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Make a household of multiple sims and place them in a house. Make a room for one of your sims and click on the door. Click "Lock door for individual...".
What happens when the bug occurs? When trying to lock/unlock a door for an individual, not all household members will show up as an option. Sometimes only one household member will show up as an option, some household members will show up as options, or all BUT one household member will show up as an option to have the door locked/unlocked for them.
What do you expect to see? I should be able to lock/unlock my door for any or all individuals in my household.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

This happens in multiple households, not only one. I have switched to different sims to try and see if the options change up for who I can and lock the door for, but it doesn't change. Specific members of my household just won't be available as an option, as if they don't even exist. I want to have my sim lock the door for her family members, but unlocked for visitors that are friends, so locking the door for everyone but her is not an option. Relationships don't seem to effect who is or isn't available as an option to lock/unlock the door for.

Edit By Crinrict: Adjusted Title to better reflect the issue

  • @AstroNovice I’ve noticed the following restrictions - does this reflect what you see?

    1. Sims off lot won’t show
    2. Sims already locked out won’t show in the lock for menu; Sims not locked out won’t show in unlock for
    3. You can’t lock for the active Sim. To lock them out, you either need to lock for everyone or switch sims

All of my sims are on the lot while trying to lock/unlock. I've selected "unlock" and even replaced the door, but all of my sims still won't show up as an option to lock for. The one sim that shows up in my household of 5, as the only option to lock/unlock for, can lock/unlock herself out. The family dog is the only other one that shows up as an individual.

    @AstroNovice That does sound odd.

Does the same thing happen no matter which Sim is active?

Do your Sims "know" each other - ie have a relationship bar, or is it missing?

    What age/types are your Sims?
  • @PipMenace

@Yes, it shows the same options, even when playing as each household member. They're all related with full friendship bars. Mother, father and 3 children. The parents and their 3 children are all young adults, but that's because they're vampires
