[LS] No setting for gallery Sims not to appear in Cupid's Corner

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.108.335.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Open pack settings for Lovestruck
What happens when the bug occurs? I'm not sure if this is a bug or oversight or an intentional game feature, but I remember on social media it was said that if we don't want a Sim we uploaded to the gallery to be available in Cupid's Corner, we can turn off the feature in settings. However there is no such setting. There are only options where other players can disable connection to the gallery. However as a player, even if I upload Sims to the gallery I would like the option to disinclude some/all of my Sims from appearing in other people's Cupid's Corner.
What do you expect to see? An additional option in either settings or the gallery for me to disinclude my Sims from appearing in Cupid's Corner in other people's games.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. I bought the Lovestruck pack.

As you can see in the screenshot above, it is said we can turn off the feature. 

However in the pack settings there is no such feature I can check/uncheck so my gallery Sims do not show up in Cupid's Corner in other people's games. 

Even if this is not a bug, then please consider this feedback, I would love to have the option available. 🙂

    Another screenshot from Facebook, which seems clearer. The first conment implies, to me, that if we don't want our gallery Sims to be included in Cupid's Corner, we can turn it off. 

     

    But yeah, so far I haven't seen any such setting or option.

    @espeon9466 Only Sims with the hashtag #LovestruckSingles are shown in Cupid's Corner. If you don't use that hash tag, your Sim shouldn't be included.

    Did you have any of your Sims uploadeded without that hashtag appear ?

    Hi @crinrict, that's not what The Sims team have explained on social media so far, and people have tested and confirmed in gameplay as well that the hashtag is not necessary. All Sims on the gallery that are eligible (single, young adult or older and unmodded) can populate the Cupid's Corner app in game. 

    Unless of course players choose to uncheck certain settings like disabling occult Sims etc. 

    I can attach a Facebook post from a player who confirmed that the hashtag isn't necessary. 

    From my understanding the hashtag is for generating interest or when searching the gallery normally, it helps people to find Sims that were uploaded for Cupid's Corner.

    @espeon9466 I can't really test right now since they seem to have disabled it currently. The way I understood it the hashtag is necessary so maybe they're looking into it why it doesn't work.

    (also been away from it all the past weeks so not really uptodate yet).

    Will see if I can get further info from the CM.

    It's all kind of confusing because they were encouraging people to use the hashtag but they did explain in their comments on social media that all gallery Sims that are eligible can populate the app. 

    Even EA Help's blog post doesn't mention the hashtag: https://help.ea.com/in/help/the-sims/the-sims-4/cupids-corner-guide/



    I didn't know they disabled it but there have been some bugs where Sims downloaded via the app have issues with their physical appearance and voices and I believe I saw a few reports that the app wasn't generating gallery Sims despite being allowed in the options etc. I suspect they must be looking into those issues.

    @espeon9466 I'm not sure if they did but there's a lot of people having issues not getting any from the gallery.
