Mansion Baron Aspiration Art Bug

I am now noticing that. If I paint a new piece of art and hang it up on the wall it counts but nothing I past created that I have been saving in my inventory counts in the 0/15? It has to be a new piece of art?? Is this correct because my old art should also count I mean it is art. I have saved Masterpieces in my inventory now for a long time to complete this Aspiration.  And If I keep creating new pieces and leaving them on the wall until I hit 15 my rent is going to be insane by the time it comes around even though I have the frugal triat. 

hiya i have a sim  with the  mansion  baron  what i did for the 15 pieces of art was just to build 2 long walls on the property went into buy mode and bought paintings to hang on the walls they counted for the 15 wish granted then back to build mode deleted the walls the paintings went to the family inventory try that and see if it'll work for you

Hi rumbutter 🙂 tyvm for answering. OK, I have one small wall with a door on my property, that's it. If I add anything more my rent is going to sky rocket.  And I don't use the money cheat. It's taken me a very long time now to save what I have. I understand I can buy art but atm I can't afford to do so. If I buy Art that I can make it's going to cost me a lot. I I'm trying to save enough money so that my weekly deposite is higher than my rent so I can one day move into a nice home and if I spend this money my interest will drop for the week. After completing Fabolously Wealthy I get a check for how much money I have.  I am being charged over $5000 right now in rent and I do not even own a toilet or bed. To be exact it's around $5700 weekly. I work three days a week as a mixologist making $5700 And have to then spend massive amounts making drinks in mixology. My income doesn't even cover my rent after I make drinks. In fact I'm in game now and quit my job because the long haired hippy guy is just not showing up with the mystery drink for me to buy for $200 still after I've working three Sim weeks. Maybe I will try going back later as I wanted that drink. 

I own a fridge, sink, shower, stero, one small wall with a door, plants for fishing only nothing bought and my art stuff to make money on the side and a comp/desk. have no roof on my house either. I understand some people can just go in and buy things but I don't have the funds. If my Art that I am creating now counts and is good enough then my old art should also. I want my weekly deposite to be higher than my rent and if I spend all this money buying Art it's going to drop. I don't want to spend the rest of my Sim life working myself to death just so I can eat Yogurt from the fridge lol!!!! Honestly the rents that are being charged are just insane, way way too high! But ty. I'm just changing Aspirations until I can afford to hang my own Art and not buy. 

And the desk and comp are now going into storage. The only reason I got them was to make a mixology book because we don't have a Library in Oasis Springs. I didn't know I could click onto Willow Creek and go to that library. Had I known that I would have not bought a comp and desk. Maybe removing that will make my rent go down. 

But in all honesty, Art is Art and if my new Art counts for  Mansion Baron Aspiration my old Art should also especailly the masterpieces,  I saved each piece specificaly for this so I am frustrated atm.

mhmm i have turned ageing off because my sims WILL be dead before they even get one skill completed never mind anything else :D

yeah you can travel from one world to the other buy the small cheap wall arts to see if they add to the count  then sell them once the 15 counts adds up that's what  i did maybe thats cheating i dunno but my sim has no guilty fellings about that 😕mileylol:  her next goal for the mansion baron was something like 30 windows easy fifxand one was X amount of columns easy fix again buy them fulfil the aspiration sell them again but the main goal i want her to complete is the buy a fancy house for here no money cheats...yet 😕mileyhappy:  i have a gardner and fisherman so they sell what they catch and grow to add to the household funds  my house has no roof either or windows thats the households goal to get they are earning their way to building the house which is all over the map building wise i add as the funds come in

Wow!! You live right near me! I live right across the street from Sandtrap Flat.  It's a great location with fishing, collecting right there with no traveling. I can run home and eat my Yogurt  lol!!! And ya rumbutter after spending and making up all the salads and Yogurt to go up in cooking I now just eat  Yogurt trying to save as much $$$ as I can. I made everything up at the Rattlesnake Juicebar lol! Salads and Yogurt  all the way so I wouldn't burn to death.  I left the food and drinks for anyone to eat and upgraded everything there so I wouldn't be working and playing in a dirty environment. I wanted the Bar honestly to boost my Inspiration for art lol!!! Had no idea it was going to make me want to pee like that since I have steel bladder. The drinks look so good, my friends enjoy them but I won't touch them. Especailly since I do not own a toilet!

You have more walls than me lol!!!! But kewl thx for the pic and share. I have no idea how to add a photo on here I see no options. :/  It's nice to know that even though I just have a small wall and door my friends still love me!! I wonder what would happen if I removed them? How would anyone knock?? I might try this now. 

I don't know if you have floors or not but I don't I took those out too I have no floors. So, when the sink or bathtub breaks lol I don't have to mop it up cause it sends me a message saying.. Only a neat freak would mop this up! If you have floors lol take them out you will never have to mop again! 

LOL i get well used to get that with my gardner he'd hav ebig puddles everywhere in the garden other sims complained abut the mess out there in the garden i'd have a sim in the playfull mood to splash in the puddle to get rid of it but the better my garden got at gardening the less he made and left big spalsh puddles outside

and i think i will get rid of the floors LOL

How did you get a gardner? 

bought the flower planter from buy mode had the sim click on the planter bowl or planter box buy seeds-open- seeds packets in the inventory  place  a seed on the ground click on the seed plant the sim learns the gardening skill and off you go from there
