@SheriGR Did you try to repaint any walls in your build, or add/modify any rooms or walls? Is any of your MOO-placed decor in close proximity to a wall? In my experience, most (but not all) of my deleted items were nearby or up against a wall.
As with the countertop issue, did you try placing a cabinet + countertop sink combo, then moving said cabinet along with the sink out of its place to avoid automatic snapping, then raising things like soap dispensers, tootbrush holders, etc., up within the spot where the cabinet/sink will be to create a natural, homey, cluttered look, then replacing the cabinet/sink? When I do this, either the clutter or the sink itself will disappear with the addition of the red ‘cannot intersect with other objects’ box that OP mentions.

@FinalBossNyumaI've experienced the MOO-placed decor getting placed in household inventory, but not deleted, due to repainting/modifying walls when the game seems to think the MOO items are so close to walls they are "at one with the wall" because Sims.
But that's usually with items on snap points of furniture that I've placed with MOO. So your issue seems to be rather different.
Have not had the cabinet/sink glitch you mention, though. No "cannot intersect with other objects" there. Platforms can cause weird "cannot intersect with other objects" messages though.
Also, I have not had the issue with MOO not being able to alt-place items on floor freely without it taking stuff on other side of wall out or being finicky about other things near it.
That's a new one, and sounds like something I might expect without MOO. Especially, the OP mentioning counters not placing in corners if there's a column there.
- @stjmk To clarify, my game attempts to send items to the household inventory due to seemingly conflicting hitboxes despite MOO being enabled. I use the word ‘delete’ since, for example, my latest WIP home that I’d just recently been working on is still unowned, so any items sent to inventory in this case are essentially lost.
I’ve not yet had OP’s exact issue concerning the inability to place straight cabinets in room corners (because I’ve not attempted it), but the mention of conflict with exterior columns sounds extremely familiar, & I happen to mention having issues with that in my first reply.
In all my building since the platform update, I’ve only utilized that feature once for a single 2x1 platform in the aforementioned home build; however, I’d been having issues with MOO before that & with my older builds that had plenty of MOO utilization but no platforms. My logic could very well be off, though, haha 😆 But I’d attributed my issue as being the same as OP’s due to the commonality of MOO appearing less effective than it had been in previous updates/builds, although the methods by which to spotlight its ineffectiveness can vary & don’t seem to trigger for all players.- @FinalBossNyuma If you move someone in, the "deleted" items that were moved to household inventory will show up in their household inventory. At least, that seems to be the way it works in my game.
You are probably right about your problem with MOO being similar to the OP's. It sounds way more extensive than the usual game glitch of: "Welp, you changed the wallpaper, all the decor on that fake upright piano is in household inventory now." Or "Remember those decorative external columns on the third floor under the frieze? Welp, they don't think they can fit there now that you changed the wallpaper inside."
The column/counter thing is something I've only encountered without MOO, which is why it sounds familiar to me. And it does sound like MOO is being glitchier in your game than it usually is.
Could try downloading the @SheriGR house, or upload yours?- @stjmk Ah okay, I’d assumed that the household inventory was not only inaccessible but also disabled on lots that aren’t or cannot be owned, so thank you for informing me of that! And believe me, long ago I’d already attempted to link my EA account to my console in order to utilize the gallery & lend a build of mine to the devs in order to troubleshoot another annoying glitch that I’d been experiencing, unrelated to this one… But of course there was some perpetual error & I’ve been unable to link ever since. Because being able to properly access the gallery is just too much like right at this point. 🙂
