If anyone's still experiencing this issue, could you possibly share with me a save file where you've seen it occur? Your Config.log (located in \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4) would also be great and a video would be the cherry on top! You can DM the link to your files to me, thanks so much for the help!
Instructions here:
I was unable to replicate the bug a second time, so no video, but here's the config and save file.

I'm on Xbox Series S, Game version 1.58.4.2300. I've had this twice in the past week where I've gone from build mode in Henford on Bagley (specifically The Bramblewood). Build mode music has continued playing in live mode. I've gone to Manage Worlds to see if that helps but it got so much worse I had to mute sound as the loading/MW music joined in and tracks played over each other which sounds beyond creepy!
So I restarted my console and because Series S has quick resume it immediately took me back to the same point with the music STILL playing. So at this point my temper goes pop and I yank the plug out of the socket swearing so loudly my cat put his paws over his ears. Started my game again and it had stopped.
It's happened randomly in the past but this is twice in a week so that's concerning.
I've got most packs installed (except for Star Wars, Vampires, Wedding Stories, Bust the Dust and Modern Menswear.)
Possibly coincidentally I've had an issue over the same time period where only one track plays on a loop in build mode. If it's the Realm of Magic or Strangerville one I go out of it and back in again to change the track as I don't like those ones. I also have about 3 or 4 minutes of dead air occasionally and no music plays at all in build mode.

This happens to me occasionally. I think it has to do in my case with 1. switching screens while a zone is loading (cough cough Discord cough) or 2. spending an inordinate amount of time in BuildBuy. A game restart usually makes it go away.
