This happens to me occasionally. I think it has to do in my case with 1. switching screens while a zone is loading (cough cough Discord cough)  or 2. spending an inordinate amount of time in BuildBuy.  A game restart usually makes it go away.

I haven't had it for a long time but I had this glitch yesterday too when I started the game
the music from main menu just never stopped and all the other sounds just didn't stop it from playing

but once i exit the game and restarted it the glitch was gone
