[MWS] Can’t get married by clicking on the wedding arch

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? Norsk
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.83.24.1030
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All, except Journy To Batuu, Bust The Dust, Garden Oasis, Fashion Street, Blooming Rooms, Modern Menswear
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have an engaged couple and travel to a lot with a wedding arch.
What happens when the bug occurs? The marriage options are greyed out. When hovering over it says that it’s innapropriate to get married to a sim you have hired.
What do you expect to see? Being able to get my sims married by clicking on the wedding arch.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

I can plan a wedding and elope, so the issue seems to be specifically with the wedding arches.

i’ve tested in Brindleton Bay and San Myshino.

i didn’t test with a wedding arch on my own lot.


I think this came with one the the recent updates, but I’m not 100% sure.

I’m not sure if it’s the same bug as this thread.

    @marianlarsen Did you try several couples ? It does still crop up from time (think there's an open thread somewhere)

    Did you create them both from scratch ?

    @crinrictSorry for the late reply. I had a couple right now get engaged. I tested with the wedding arch in Windenburg, and it seems to work as expected.

    I’ll check Brindleton Bay and San Myshino.

    It’s a different save-file, it might have something to do with it.

    Update: I tried a different couple in Brindleton Bay, at it works as expected.

    I don’t know if there’s something wrong with my other save.

    @marianlarsen Maybe they have some kind of trait that prevents them to get married. I currently don't have any time to test. Do you know your way around hidden traits ?

    @crinrict I have uploaded them now. My galleryID is marianlarsen and the couple is called «Iversen-couple».
