[ARCHIVED] Guests not wearing formal/specified attire at wedding/funeral

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Xbox Series X
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 2.20
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of them
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Have a customised wedding and don’t select outfits then all guests show up in random outfits not formal
What happens when the bug occurs? Guests show up in random outfits, a lot of them seem to be work outfits
What do you expect to see? Guests wearing formal outfits. I had no issues with my wedding stories before the patch to fix it, now it’s worse for me than it was before
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. It was after the patch to fix my wedding stories

My wedding stories worked fine for me before the patch, now I can’t get the guests to do anything and they’re all turning up in awful work outfits. None of them wear their formal outfit. If I didn’t select an out before the patch they’d all just wear their normal formal outfit now they’re just ruining my vibes!

    So if I click polished everyone is still turning up in randomised outfits not they’re formal outfits which they did before the patch to fix it. And randomised sims outfits aren’t pretty! Ha ha! So still not working

    I was looking for a topic to report the same thing about funerals. Part of the guests had a random outfit generated instead of using their formal outfit as expected as nothing was specified in the event planing (no style or no color selected).

    Maybe something broke with the addition of funerals...

    I have an example for a Funeral: for some reason, some of the Sims wear their formal outfit, and others not. Two of the Sims not in their formal outfit are part of my household but others are not.

    I have the same problem. My wedding guests have random outfits no matter what I select.

    same here. if you don't specify a dress code sims will show up in random outfits (their last worn i guess) which unfortunately might be random festival atrocities

    I also believe is their last worn outfit but it seems to be special outfits like halloween costumes, random festival outfits or academic gowns. I had a sim showing up with the Boba Fett outfit on the wedding just one day after halloween holiday (I played at his household the day before the wedding and chose the Boba Fett outfit for him) and also had a sim appearing with an academic gown. I attached some pictures bellow.

    My Sims parents both showed up in their Halloween costumes. So frustrating. Lots of bugs while playing today.
