My child disappeared?!

I was playing sims 4 and it said that it was the baby's birthday so i aged him up and he vanished when he became a child but i could control his actions.

Anyone having a similar problem? Is this a glitch?

    Figured it out! try the cheat reset sim (first name) (last name) and it should work!
