My mermaid sim tried to swim with her guitar and now it's in the middle of the ocean, floating on the surface like the guitar is Jesus Christ himself. My sim can't retrieve it, and it's outside of the lot, so I can't retrieve it either. I've already tried setashead.
Any suggestions on how to retrieve or just get rid of this thing?
Have you tried to reset the guitar itself?

Any chance of your Mermaid swimming near the guitar and command her to 'put in inventory'?
There honestly isnt even a put in inventory button. I don't know why
I tried to have her play it so she'd pick it up but she can't reach it so I don't think I could put it away even if the button was there
