@rostsit I apologize. It's super weird, though...
I think my subject title might have been slightly misleading. They only seem to have children. Fully grown, adult children. I've never seen a husband in the picture, I just assumed... but then, there's no way for a skeleton to get pregnant. The sheer mechanics alone make the brain reel.
So, I suppose it could be related. If they're having romances that produce the children. But both times I witnessed it, I only saw the byproduct of what I assumed was a coupling. Patella Kost had four adult children. That's how I first noticed it. I met one of her sons -- well, my SIM met one of her sons, Zygot Kost. When I asked him to move in, I just noticed that he was from a family of five: Petella (skeleton) was mother to four adult, regular (non skeleton) Sims.
The same was true later. I met another adult named Patella Skeleton. The last name was way too ostentatious to have not been the same as the first. And so, I became friends the the "human" Patella, so I could ask her to move in. When I did, I discovered she had a sister (also Patella), and their mother was Tibia Skeleton -- an actual Skeleton. I specifically remember both Skeletal assistants.
I never witnessed any type of "father" being around, and silly me -- I didn't check their family tree before moving them out. I really should have, because at the very least -- it would have been interesting to see. But what seemed to be happening for me was that the Skeletons just spawned adult children... or rather, the game spawned adult children and assigned them to the Skeletons? I really don't know.
So, it could be that those tired old bones were in the mood for some love... I just never saw that part, if that's how it happened. (if that IS how it happened, I think I'm probably glad I didn't see that part.) Plus, a pregnant skeleton might have given me nightmares. (I'm kidding. Kind of.)
Thank you for posting, and for trying to help put a pinpoint on what might be going on. I don't know much about it, and it could very well be that you are correct. I only noticed the skeltons, and their adult Sim children, though.
Thank you again... I apologize if I offended you before. I know you are trying to help, and it was not my intention to be so contradictory.
This is precisely the subject I've been eager to explore, especially since I recently embarked on a new game adventure involving a hunt for the father 100 Baby Challenge with Guildry. In this challenge, I am also on a quest to uncover the identity of the father of a teenage boy whom my cherished Sims family has taken under their wing. This young Humerus Corporis mother, Tibia Corporis, was a unique character—a blueish alien skeleton who, for reasons still unknown, passed away. Her untimely death left her son struggling in school, prompting my family to step in and care for him, although he was never officially adopted. My main goal now is to track down his biological father. Reflecting on my past gameplay, I remember taking Lui and his wife on an adventure to Selvadorada, where he mastered archaeology. During that trip, he navigated through ancient ruins and even made friends with several skeletons at the end of his journey. Since then, I've always viewed Lui as somewhat of a Selvadoradian character. While managing other families in Selvadorada, Lui was frequently seen swimming and socializing at the bar and ruins, which led me to speculate whether he might have had an unplanned romantic encounter with Tibia, resulting in a child. To complicate matters further, Lui possesses the Totecallam Death Relic—specifically, the Blessing of the Skeleton Assistant, along with various other relics scattered throughout his home. This has sparked my curiosity about whether he could autonomously summon skeletons, so I’m planning to have him try summoning them to see if Guildry, Lui, and the Grim Reaper could have potentially fathered the boy with this summoned skeleton. My intention is to save all three characters to the Gallery, as I continue my quest to determine the true identity of Tibia's son’s father. It’s worth mentioning that Tibia used to appear on the family tree, but she mysteriously vanished when I encountered her son. I often remarked to myself how much he resembled Lui, and one day, I made the decision to add him to the family. However, he seemed to carry a sort of death wish, necessitating my frequent efforts to resurrect him. It feels as though both he and Tibia were fated for an early demise, but I refused to allow that to happen. As a result, Tibia's presence has now faded from the family tree. In my research and exploration within the game, I came across some intriguing theories. One suggestion was that the Grim Reaper himself could be the father of Tibia's son. Alternatively, I also discovered that another character named Guildry might hold that title. Interestingly, Guildry is currently engaged in his own 100 Baby Challenge, and I learned that Bonehilda, a classic character from the game, is supposedly related to Tibia. It seems that Guildry had a child with Bonehilda, and I am eagerly awaiting the moment when that child reaches their teenage years to compare their appearance to Tibia's son—it’s astonishing how similar they look! Additionally, Guildry fathered a child with a character named Temperance, but that offspring bears little resemblance to Tibia’s son. There's also a possibility that he had a child with Jesminder, which adds another layer to the mystery. In the present day, Tibia's son is residing with a family led by a father named Lui, who strikingly resembles him. They share similar hair styles, albeit Lui's hair is black and Humerus Corporis has a slightly redder tint. I really want to find his father and I’m scouring through the game and gallery to find Tibia Corporis and she is nowhere to be found so, I’m going to start summoning skeletal assistants. I am so committed to this quest, that I decided to create an entirely new game save dedicated to it. In this storyline, Humerus Corporis marries Luis's daughter, Viola, which explains why Luis never formally adopted him. I had a specific plan in mind for how the story would unfold. As a result of their union, they welcomed a baby into the world, and I want to ensure that both sides of the family—Humerus's and Viola's parents—are actively involved in their lives. This is all part of my intention before I export this family to the gallery. Once that is completed, I plan to wrap up this new game save and return to my original game with Humerus Corporis’s family, where I can continue their adventures.i sure hope Lui isn’t his father man I’m going to have to change some stuff.
