There should be newer drivers for your card. Maybe that will help ? Try updating them.
(found a newer one updating now: I will advise what happened)...also....the translucent thing is happening to the Cool Kids Cooler (see attached pic (This is not CC..it is an EA Sims 4 item)...see those dark lines? This happened to several of my CC, after the cats and dogs update...the issue that started this string of reports from me. This graphics card worked on high settings before the patch with no problem...the preparatory update changed things. Is this going to be sent to the developers to look at, as I have had this issue since Nov 1?
there is an 11-15-17 update to the GeForce game ready driver..I am downloading the file now.....will let you know if it worked
Could you maybe upload your house to the gallery ? Might have something to do angles and how stuff is set up.
For the mirror issue.
it is in the gallery..an earlier version of it...but I uploaded this latest one ("Bradford Homestead": it will have pumpkins in the front yard and uploaded today)......it is full of cc......do you want the mod folder too? 😉 BTW this house is a copy of my childhood home in New England (w/sims stuff). The latest driver update did not yield results...I still have the same issues even after updating the GeForce drivers.

No I'm good, I'm used to half-naked bald Sims and empty houses.
EDIT: No issues with the mirror, the cooler I can see in my game but leaving that to @BryonyRae to decided if she wants to merge with lighting collection thread.
Yes, I see the transparency on the cooler also. I'll post for it.
thank you...if they fix that in the cooler lighting...they fix a lot of the cc that shows the same thing "translucent"
The mirror problem went away when I lowered the lighting to "high" instead of "very high." The translucent issue on objects like the cooler is not apparent when lighting setting is on medium....but then you cant see shadows cast by the Sun.
