exactly. that's what i was wondering in my previous post, it could simply say "this Sim is too far away to call over". because that's how it used to be.
That's how it's still for me so I'm I don't know what's happening in your game.
Do you ever get the too far away message ? Did you also try a fresh save for testing purposes ?
yes to both. "too far away to call over" is still present.
i've tried clicking on all Sims that walk past a venue, and most of them "need to be invited in", though. the "too far away to call over" ones are as far away or as close as the "need to be invited in" ones. but i've noticed this last option happens slightly more often when the clicked-on Sim is closer to the venue. it happens in current and new saves.
Going to add this to the inconclusive list for now to see if others have the same issue.
