I've had the same issue after I installed the expansion packs. I though the maid stole them lol.

I had the problem with the teapot well before cats & dogs. Just recently had my popcorn maker disappear.

      I've not had this issue in my current save, only in a previous one. Only issue with the tea maker in this save is the 'tea going bad' glitch, where the only solution is to re-buy the machine. I haven't had my sim(s) upgrade the darn thing because of this issue. :/
