[ARCHIVED] Aspiration Goals Not Checking Off

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 2.01
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Complete an aspiration goal
What happens when the bug occurs? The Goal is rewarded with Satisfaction Points, but not checked off in the Aspirations panel, neither the one specific to the Aspiration or the Aspiration Selection panel. When completed, the Aspiration will be checked off, but nothing else, neither the Goals nor the Milestones.
What do you expect to see? Everything to be checked of as complete when it's completed.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? On console - never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. Patch 2.01 (10/22/2024)

None of my newly completed Aspiration Goals are being shown as completed, as well as Milestones. Some even went backward. For example, Purveyor of Potions - Cauldron Concoctions - Reach Spellcaster Rank 3-Adept. The Sims were already Virtuoso Spellcasters, but the Goal showed them as only Level 2 and had unchecked itself. All other Goals and Milestones are having the same problem. Paragon Partner, Romantic Explorer, Fabulously Filthy, Perfectly Pristine, etc. This issue appears to be happening across the board.

    I just noticed this too.  Came on here to see if it was just me or not.  Hope it gets fixed soon.  Edit: Thought I'd mention I'm on PC & removed my mods & did a vanilla game, same result.

    @Jaldeer - Same. Bugs like this might seem minor, since we're still getting Satisfaction Points and Reward Traits, but if people are thinking their progress isn't being tracked, it might be enough to make them quit playing. This is so similar to when Reward Store Traits weren't being greyed out after being bought, making it hard to tell what you have or haven't done.

    was doing the Grilled Cheese aspiration. I was on the final goals: cook excellent grilled cheese. my sim has level 10 cooking and the most expensive stove. they cooked grilled cheese multiple times and it never checked off. I removed all of my mods and tried multiple times, no go. I switched aspirations and completed a few tasks, they too would not check off. what gives?

    @iamsweetmystery Same here also I play on PC, Xbox one and Xbox series x and I don't know how to share game saves on this website

    I hope the sim gurus fix this in the next upcoming patch update

    Ok it seems my aspirations so far got fixed on my Sims except for the werewolf and horse ranch aspirations and the base game public enemy join the criminal career at I think level 4and the neighborhood confidante aspirations are not getting checked off
