For some reason I can't travel with more than one sim. I've tried restarting but it doesn't work. It allows me to select one sim only. When I try take vacation option it selects three sims for me but if I deselect one I can't reselect them nor can I select more sims. It also doesn't work with other households in the same save file nor does it work with new save files.
This has started happening to me as well. Only started playing the Eco Life a Yesterday.
Before installing the expansions (Eco life and Get famous) I was able to travel with at least 3 Sims with no issues.
After expansions I can only select 2 Sims. When grouping my household (4) so they are all selected, the travel button is greyed out with a tooltip "Too many Sims selected"

I started to have this issue recently as well. I have all the packs without any mods/CC.
I can only invite one Sim to come with me.
However, the work around is to get to the destination then call other sims from the same household over.
