[NEEDS SAVES] [DU] Sim didn't receive presentation board/ Gone Missing

Product: The Sims 4
Platform:PC
Which language are you playing the game in? English
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? 1.63.134.1020
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All of tthem.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? My sims (my mermaid) just started attending college and she is supposed to have a board to present on but doesn't. She has done all her homework and her term paper, just can't do this.
What happens when the bug occurs? Now
What do you expect to see? Board in the inventory.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure

    Agreed. Today I (foolishly) left my sim's board on a public lot before returning to their dorm room. I got the message about it being returned to my sims inventory when traveling...but it's not there. It might be in the HOUSEHOLD inventory but they're in a dorm, I can't access that without moving them out and messing up my whole roleplay. If we could just get a replacement through the computer or something, it would just make things so much smoother. Not to mention make more sense lmao.

    Hi,

    I had the same issue today. I have all EPs, the game is updated and my Sim is on the last semester and the presentation board is now gone. It’s a shame this bug has been happening for 4 years or so and nobody fixes it. It ruins the experience of the university EP because getting excellent grades is not easy and the missing board will impact on my Sim’s gpa.

    Hi There! I've figured out how to fix a missing presentation board WITH NO MODS today (May 7th, 2024). What I did was I held SHIFT & click on my sim. From there I clicked cheat sim info >> more choices >> Promote Career [class name]. This will then change it so that your sim is given a term paper instead of a presentation to complete. If you repeat this cheat again, your sim will be given another presentation to complete and a new board should appear in their inventory. However, I noticed that this only worked once. It may be possibly that your sim will need to travel to a different lot if you're doing this for more than one class. Hope this helped!

    You are a legend! I followed these instructions, and it did change the class task to be a term paper. However, it won't let me do it again to change it back to a presentation, and I'm not able to use the computer to write a term paper for that class. BUT, if you then Demote Career [class name] it switches back to a presentation and the board appears in the sims inventory!

    That did not exactly work for me. Id did spawn a board but all I can to is to put it into inventory/place it in the world. I tried to reset the board, the sim and take it to a different place but no go :/
