[NEEDS SAVES] Game failed to Load- Error Code: 110:83165b0:99987177

How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
What is your current game version number? 1.110.265.1030 DX11
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All except the latest life and death pack
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The game failed to load. Error Code: 110:83165b0:99987177. It is recommended that you relaunch the game. I have found this error pops up every time I have tired to get into my latest saved game. I have followed the directions of relaunching and nothing works.
What happens when the bug occurs? Ever since the new update on 10/25/24 I have had issues with game failing to load. Upon trying to load my game, it goes through the loading screen before it stops loading and puts me at the map section where it gives the pop up error. I have tried hitting the okay button and trying to go into whatever world it is that my sim family lives in but it does the loading thing again before kicking me out of the world and back on the world map page. If I close out my game and try again it has done the same thing with no new results. I have even used the repair button on the sims4 managed game section and again it pulls the same issue.
What do you expect to see? I'm hoping to see that there is a way to fix up my game and not lose the progress of the sim I had been working on for the reaper rewards. Yes, I know the reward backup to my profile but I have been using this character to play through the weeks and have worked on a lot of skills and over all playthrough on the character that I do not want to loose.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. The latest patch update on 10/25/24 that is getting ready for life and death pack.

I have tired to report the issue directly to the sims team but it just brings me to the forums which aren't much help to me when I'm unable to play my game and have tried to do all the recommended things in order to get the game working the way it needs to be. There really isn't much more to say that isn't already up in the boxes above.

Please try a double load

1. Load the lot
2. Get error
3. Load lot again

If the issue persists, check for any LastException files in Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 ?

Best is to delete the ones you have, then trigger the error and check if new ones are created.

If that is the case, please upload them to a new post in this thread.

Please either create a .rar file to upload or copy/paste the content into your post.

Deleting the file won't fix your issue. Uploading the file is meant for troubleshooting.

Hi,
I'm also having this issue - I've attached a file to my last exception file. Is there any way to fix this? Sorry very new to this forum but desperate to get sorted because i can't get into my game at all ☹️

@Niamh1250 You can't attach the file itself. You need to either upload it as a rar file or copy/paste the content of the file.

@crinrict I'm having the same issue, deleted the LastException files, error popped up again and no new LE files were created. I have relaunched the game though and it still isn't working?

I never touch my documents, this is so overwhelming, and I just wanna finish the event tasks before they disappear I'm so stressed about all of this x)) thank you for helping, that is so nice!!

Are you also not using mods/cc and get the same error code ?

If you do use mods and removed them, please try this

- Load the lot
- Get error
- Load lot again.
