I think I've encountered something like this with shaving facial hair, where you ask the sim to shave it off, but when they're done, the body hair is still visible and the shaving to preferred length option is gone.I think body hair growth got stuck - I usually play on rotation and load in and out of different households, and I find this usually happens when I load back into a family I haven't played for a while.I usually reset it back to working by going into CAS and briefly selecting a different style of body hair and then back again - a message could pop up saying something like "Are you sure you want to change this - body hair growth will be reset" and I click OK. This should reset body hair growth back to working again, and also that means shaving should work again when I exit CAS and go back to live mode.So that's how I workaround the issue, but it'd be nice if I didn't have to.There's also this issue I reported back when HSY launched, but it's specific to the premade sim Kevin Puri: Kevin's arm and leg hair can't be removed. In that case it's because Kevin is premade with arm and leg hair applied that doesn't correspond to the setting in CAS so you can't remove it normally.

@Vihisha Could you test if the same happens with another Sim ? Maybe also try another fresh save for testing purposes.

Haven't been able to duplicate this on another Sim or another save, but it was something that showed up a couple times on this particular Sim in this particular save.

@Vihisha Not really sure how leg hair is handled by the game. Could be something that's stuck on the Sim.

Did you test this Sim in another save ?

I can report that shaving function remains severely broken. If you give the shave command (particularly preferred face) it works maybe 50% of the time, at best. I usually have to return my Sim to the shower at least twice to get the desired shaving results. Ridiculous. I’m giving up on the shaving function for face.
