My sim has made contact with Edith and built a “good friend” relationship with Edith, even gotten the mark of Edith, but the objective doesn’t show that it’s been completed.

So I bought the Life and Death pack and Lovestruck pack together and went to Ravenwood. I saw a ghost at a well which i later learned was called Edith and tried to talk to it and ended up making them have a negative view of my sim. I left the lot, decided to look at aspirations and chose Ghost historian. I managed to progress through the aspiration quite quickly but upon reaching 'make contact with Edith' it didn't clear so I made friends with Edith and got her Mark and it still hasn't cleared
SOLUTION: I followed advice from from another thread/issue and managed to work around.
My sim had high friendship with Edith from doing the Alice storyline previously and seemed to trigger the standard continuous-talk mode at first (or I'm just impatient) so I cancelled out and tried again. She then did her Edith-scream and the objective for Ghost Historian cleared. Friendship's still high also!
Not a full solution but it works nicely. Huge thanks to @meganspisak, worked past two issues with one fix 🙂
