By taking a Sim to the Thinning Festival (and probably to any other festival in Ravenwood) and trying to do any of the activities.What happens when the bug occurs? The advertised activities (e.g. Tarot reading, Grimtern) don't show up in the social menu, despite the NPCs being in the proper place. Or sometimes, nobody shows up.What do you expect to see? The activities showing up in the social menu.Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I’ve made multiple attempts to go to the Afterlife Anonymous festival/event. With and without mods I’ve tried but it never started, and no one would ever show up. Here is my save file right outside of the location in Mourningvale where it was supposed to have started. I’ve fast forwarded over several sim days waiting for one of the events to start and it never has. I did get to attend the Thinned Festiveil festival but I didn’t see any special options, like tarot card reading and such despite the sims being there for the event. Also the little quests like Alice’s Sorrow are also buggy for me, I was able to get some of the quests done between two sims but had to cheat to complete it because between the two sims some things would cross off the list, but not others. I'm having a similar issue. Casket Sale, Celebration of Life, and Afterlife Anonymous will not spawn. There are also no event notifications for those events. I've had a sim wait for multiple days at the event locations and nothing happens. The rest of the LD festivals seem to work fine, with notifications and information pop ups.

Would be good if you could also test the other festivals.

@localsimologist That’s my exact problem too. The only ones that work are the ones that send out notifications (LD festivals still work) but Casket Sale, Celebration of Life, and Afterlife Anonymous are a no go, and no notifications either, but I assume they weren’t supposed to get ones? Either way standing around waiting for days, or leaving and coming back to the lot make no difference, they just don’t work, which make multiple quest lines uncompletable. 😔

Is it still happening to you? Any luck with workarounds? It's still happening to me. I ended up adding a UI Extension so I could complete the Favors goals, but it would still be nice to attend the events... I'm going to keep nudging this in hopes it escalates. I'd love to avoid a complete reinstall, which might be the only fix......

Yeah, still happening to me, no fixes or workarounds (other than cheats) found yet. I have a UI extension cheat too, you can just click things off to do away with quests, but it takes the fun out of them. I really wanna attend the events too. Looks like the problem is getting ignored though, not enough people complaining about it I guess. 😔
