I just received the same LE on mac, after using the cupids app with several Sims, going on the new dates and switching households and doing the same with another Sim, as I wanted to test out the high pitch voice bug. Instead I got a crash at some point when my Sim tried to go on an old (non-Lovestruck) date with her gallery-cupid-Sim, just on load of travelling there. When I restarted (I had luckily saved just before that) I got the matchmaking_service LE consistently. When loading back a backup from before using the cupid app and going on dates, the LE is not there.
I barely did anything else than using the cupid app, going on dates in different community lots and inviting those Dates over to my sim's lots, all of that with Gallery-Cupid-Sims partners. I also tried out many of the romantic interactions on the way. The LE only happened after restarting a save-as save.
After a whole Sunday of testing with a reverted backup and going through all of my dating activities again with multiple Sims, and saving-as after every big activity, I was finally able to reproduce this LE several times with the same steps:
1. Play as a Sim who has had already a date with a Gallery Sim from the Cupid app (and mine all had the popup of romantic satisfaction in the "both Very satisfied in their relationship" level).
2. While you are at your own Sims home (even just right after that date) favourite 2 more Gallery Sims on the Cupid app, and then go to your saved Sims in the app and add both of these gallery Sims to your contacts right after another. (For me the LE only happened, if I used fresh Gallery Sims. When I reused the same ones for multiple testing rounds it did not create the LE for some reason, maybe because they were then already added to my own Gallery after one round of testing?)
3. After adding them to contacts I went with my Sim to CAS made a small change and accepted it
4. When coming out of CAS I had the LE poping up!
If this doesnt work on one of your Sims try it again on another one, I'm not sure if it was necessary but my Sim was a female and added male Gallery Sims to her contacts and had that date just before with a male Gallery Cupid Sim that was also added to her contacts before in the same way as above, and then used "Ask on.." "Ask to Create a Date.." Romantic date" through the Sim contacts to have their date.
Also recreated this without mods.
I really hope all this testing effort will help fixing this bug fast, as the bug is making it risky for us to play with the new Cupid app. I won't be using the feature in the meantime, as I don't know if it has corrupting side effects, and can't risk my legacy save. Please, Sims team, could you put this on your next laundry list, and also the male voice of all Gallery cupid sims becoming female, both of these bugs are making the feature not playable. Thank you so much!!

I played around with this in a junk save and discovered it was triggered by opening cupids corner for anything other than deactivating it. Open cupids corner and do anything on it other than deactive it, do something to trigger a loading screen, and boom the error would pop up. I started another save and got a slightly different error but still a matchmaking services error. My game is error free as long as I dont touch cupids corner. Which is a shame as thats the reason I bought the pack, I wanted to use that feature. This wasnt fixed in the previous update and is not on the laundry list for todays update either (very disappointing).
