My sim continues to die of a broken heart even when all of his relationships are going well.
Now there is not even a notification warning me, he just dies.
I have used the disable death cheat but I would appreciate not having to punch in the code every time I play so my sims doesn’t die.

Many things need to be fixed regarding romance. Much has changed and not for the better. It seems that they want people to die and be miserable when it comes to romance. Maybe one of the devs has had a very bad romance now we all suffer.
So what I understand is that sims with multiple non official relationships will end up having the broken heart moodlet and lead them to die if they have multiple prospect... I tested this, and I did not test until my sim died, but I could see the deterioration of her situation. So first I had her date multiple men, raising the friendship and romance bar to the max with all of them... the first one I made him, her boyfriend (partner), which allow them to loose less romance overtime, but all the other ones were not partner with her, leading the romance bar to fall quick after a couple of days without interacting with them and I think this is related to the moodlet because nothing else happened, except that she lost some romance with some of her romantic relations...
Thanks for the insight but the work around does not fix the bug or the set up of the package. I ran it with People Person trait which should of took care of it but did not. The single and loving is broken to because the sim gets heartache death for having any.( This should only happen when having a partner just saying. It breaking the traits and aspiration Serial romantic. If sim does not renew the romance that is on him and would be of his choice so why would he be sad(just saying). I mean really they throw enough into trying establsh a romance . Needs will go to green to red, leaks in toilet and whatever. I have the death cheat on and it trying new ways to make him sad . One of them it change by turn on and jealousy for a sim that I set up. Embarras even though no jealousy set.
My hope is that EA will read these and fix the problems rather in game changes or bug needs fix.
To have romance package that makes romance worse is kinda crazy. It busting the reason people are buying it for. I playing now in hopes that they fix the issues and I will not buy anymore if they do not. Im playing now because the money I have in it. But it getting old playing with death cheat and saving and I can see giving up right now without a fix. It busting the game. What do you think a person just bought Sims 4 because this package and new stuff added to game . They play and die after 15 hours of playing will think.Do they think they be buying another package. NO. I will not and been playing along time now. EA engineers need to get busy!!!

Lovestruck expansion pack should be about the joy of love and romance, but some dev decided to make it about dying of a broken heart all the time, even if your heart was not broken.
My Sim has the love bar (pink) almost full with his girlfriends. Eventually one of them says she's not satisfied. He meets her and her level of satisfaction starts to rise, then he dies of a broken heart! None of them broke up with him, he is satisfied with his romantic life, so no broken heart, but it happens every time I play the game now. I had to stock up on death flowers to deal with it.
I haven't got a heartbroken death yet, but I often see one or another of the sims in my household want to switch to unflirty or romantically reserved in the middle of steamy romantic encounters because "they haven't been feeling flirty lately". I haven't seen that reported, and I haven't reported it because I've been playing modded games, but it might be related.
