On further observation, the only trait I'm seeing is "Frequently Sneezes," but I've seen it on multiple Sims.
I may have a solution for this, although I haven't had a chance to test it long term. Go to your Sim with the problem and use one or more of the following cheats, depending on the problem (I've only seen certain Quirks show up in adulthood, but this is a list of all of them just in case):

Note that your Sim might still do the glitched animation one more time if you had a trait like Frequently Sneezes or Gassy! That's because there's a hidden timer that's ticking down behind the scenes, and I can't figure out how to remove it with cheats. Thankfully, once you've removed the hidden trait using the cheat(s) above, the timer will no longer reset, the animation shouldn't happen again, and the notification should be gone. You're (hopefully) free!
