Which language are you playing the game in? Deutsch
How often does the bug occur? Often (50% - 99%)
What is your current game version number? I don't know, and I can't seem to locate this information.
What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? Everything exept for a few fashion kits.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play normaly, I guess?
What happens when the bug occurs? Sims completely forget people they've already met. The people in question dissapear from the relationship tab and can't be invited to events.
e.g.: In the household I currently play with, the parents keep forgetting about each other's families.
The husband has to introduce himself to his father-in-law every time they meet, same with his brother-in-law (problem also used to occur with mother-in-law, who has since passed away).
Neither he nor his wife can invite each other's families to events.
Their kids have brought the same friend home afer school several times, but do not have her in their relationship tabs.
One of them has a whim stating he wants to become enemies with someone he doesn't even know, according to his helationship tab.
On a related note, their uncle did not get a negative moodlet from the passing of his mother, although I cannot say for sure if she has dissapeared from his relationship tab.What do you expect to see? Sims shoul not forget people they've already met, and shouldn't have to introduce themselves to them every time they come for a visit.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Not now. I've removed them.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
My sim has to reintroduce herself to tenants she has relationship points with as if she never met them but she has known them for a full season in game.
I'm curious about the following: do they talk to each other on occasion / is their relationship bar is maintained / are the other sims' icon(s) in your sim's relationship panel?
No, I don't think they know that many people, and they keep forgetting everyone who isn't immediate family, except for the neighbour my Sims's husband flirted with right in front of her twice because her presence put him in such a flirty mood. I understand why he doesn't forget him, but I'm unsure about her.
This has happened to me since I started playing the game. I am currently cheating the "Friend of the World" aspiration on all my sims to see if it will make a difference.
If my sims don't see each other frequently, they will disappear from their friendship tab.
I agree, it’s SO annoying to constantly have to re-introduce sims to their in-laws. I really wish it was possible to somehow mark them as “un-forgettable“…
