@rdorka347I have had both “ask about day” and “check in on” at the same time, so I don’t think it’s renamed though I certainly don’t remember seeing “check in on” so often before the patch. Both are in small talk, and “check in on” is the one more frequently suggested in the top level, even for Sims I just met, which seems weird.
@Alas_Enkidu I’ve just realized it’s only my infants and toddlers that have the new sub menus on the pets - actions and small talk, with I think imitate/sleep next to/pet under actions and babble under small talk. My adult sim has all friendly just grouped together. But I’ve never had the “lecture about” interactions show up in pet care, even though I have checked there multiple times because I keep thinking they should be. If the option isn’t in the initial suggestions menu it used to be in Friendly - but now if not in the initial suggestions it’s just not there at all. So maybe there’s some longer running underlaying bug that’s just causing more of an issue now if those interactions were supposed to be in pet care. I am very slowly starting to train the cat but it seems like they need to do something wrong a few times before I can finally scold them the first time. I still haven’t been able to lecture about begging for food at all and they’re definitely doing it. This is already in a save that has never had mods.
@jmcdan02 I have also noticed the baby/infant/toddler interactions rarely giving the care options - feed, change diaper, etc - in the top level suggestions, but they have always been available for me in the sub menu. But I agree it’s a lot of clicks, made worse by the number of “cuddle” interactions will auto-queue while you’re navigating to what you want and don’t cancel once you get there.
conclusion
Maybe the bug isn’t so much completely missing interactions as it is less relevant/expected suggestions at the top level?
If I already had some underlying bug with where my pet interactions live, and then there’s a new bug with less relevant suggestions in the top level, the two combined could be why I’m having such trouble training my pets.
As for the job interactions, I’m beginning to realize my Sim’s current career also has larger issues in how the work from home tasks are set up, so I’m not sure how relevant those missing interactions are.
