[ARCHIVED] Tooltip and growth chart keeps disappearing from plants

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure. Most consistently happens after any event involving undead cow plants.
What happens when the bug occurs? The tooltips/growth charts for plant stop appearing on hover. Effects both on lot plants and wild plants.
What do you expect to see? The tooltips/growth chart
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Yes
Please describe the patch or change you made. This started after installing the patch plus Life and Death. Prior to this I didn't notice this problem.

New vanilla test game. This only appeared after the small Grim Rewards patch plus installing Life and Death. The Grim Rewards involved a lot of gardening so I think I would have noticed this.
BUT, maybe not. Maybe this is not new.
Not game breaking. It's sort of annoying when looking for wild plants. I know most of the plants by sight, but newer Simmers might not.
Quitting and restarting the game fixes the problem.
